“To: Manager, Holiday Inn Express – Hayward/Castro Valley CC: IHG Customer Care Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional and Disruptive Conduct Dear Manager, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the way your staff handled my reservation at the Holiday Inn Express in Hayward/Castro Valley. I had a confirmed reservation through Expedia, made well in advance, and yet upon arrival or follow-up, I was informed that my booking had been canceled……

“The room has a strong smell of food, the bathroom has a smell of smoke, and there are many insects. The room above is directly above the ice machine that runs 24 hours a day and makes a loud noise every two hours. The cleaning staff does not clean the room, and the trash outside the room must be taken to the trash room by the guest. The cleaning staff is very rude. It is not recommended to stay at this hotel.”

“房間蠻乾淨,櫃台人員服務也不錯,但是早餐收的太準時,且常常時間還沒過,咖啡就沒有了,也沒有補,大廰也沒有像Fremont stay America 24小時有供應咖啡,但附近有星巴克,7-11等店家,只是要去walmart會比較遠一點.”

“Very good location. Although we were assigned room on Ground floor But the room is quite. This turned out to a big surprise, as our car just parked outside of wondow, gym room and breakfast room just next door. We arrived earlier and our room was ready in a minute without any question asked. Within 10 minutes we were in Premium Outlet, entertainment and shopping mall. We loved to stay in Hampton Inn.”

“酒店是汽車旅館，有很多不是住客坐在樓梯及轉角，還有人睡在走廊地上，房間非常不隔音，隔壁由晚上到早上7點都很嘈，有人不停拍門，很多人在同一個房間出入，廁所有小強及蟲在地上，床鋪很舊令身體敏感痕癢....唯一是在小區內比較便宜，不適合單獨或女性入住！”
