“We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly ”

“It’s very rustic so guests need to be a little cautious when walking. The room was on the small side and not much storage but suited our need for 2 nights. Walls also a little thin. Room and bath spotless. Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again”

“The property was stunning. A very homey cabin with lots of storage room for our ski clothes. We were pleasantly surprised at how stunning this was, the pictures do not do it justice! It was a nice getaway with games, nice speaker, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The host is wonderful! ”

“Loved this beautiful home. Brand new and excellent host. Our only issue was getting up the hill and down the drive. It snowed a few nights in a row and we were not prepared for the steepness of the road to the home especially after snowfall. If you go in winter/snow times definitely be prepared to have a 4WA drive. But it was a dream besides that. ”

“We live in TX and our daughter, spouse, grandson and a few other family members live in NC, we decided to spend a long weekend together in Blowing Rock. This cabin is located very close to all the shops and restaurants in Blowing Rock and other attractions. It’s also not too far from Boone. The cabin is very clean and has all the amenities with plenty of beds to accommodate lots of people. I gave it 4 stars because the trash cans outside were already full the day of our arrival.
