“It’s very rustic so guests need to be a little cautious when walking. The room was on the small side and not much storage but suited our need for 2 nights. Walls also a little thin. Room and bath spotless. Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again”

“Overall, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, earning its solid 4 out of 5 rating. The bed was excellent—comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night. However, cleanliness could be improved, as the entryway and bathroom tiles felt slightly sticky, and when we wiped up a spill, the rag picked up noticeable dirt. The breakfast, often praised in reviews, was certainly above average compared to typical hotel offerings, but we found the selection of healthy options to be quite……

“I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.”

“I loved the proximity of the hotel to all the downtown stores. We had excellent breakfast every day. The pool was always clean. The only issue we ran into was the fireplace temporarily stopped working. ”

“My family and I have stayed multiple times in the Bear and Bull units. Both are well kept and have the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the units is unbeatable for convenience to anything in downtown Blowing Rock. It is very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and other attractions, as during busy times, parking can be difficult to obtain around town.”
