“This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. This location needs to be removed……

“It was clean, well-maintained and the staff were helpful, courteous and nice. The only downside was the noise from the nearby freeway. But since the decision was made to build the hotel right next to a major interstate highway, there's not a lot to be done about that now. ”

“The property was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close enough to Brewer and Bucksport to shop. We had a wonderful time. Justin was amazing answering questions promptly and was able to help both before and during our visit.”

“Adorable cottage with an amazing view of the pond. Main floor very spacious, large kitchen, adorable decor with attention to detail. Set up to have a fire in the wood stove or outside right next to the pond. So relaxing and cozy! Owner is in main house next door and came and introduced himself when we arrived. Just the right amount of off the beaten path but still convenient to Bangor and local shops. We hope to return!”

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Maine. Very clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved the big backyard and we appreciated the water dish for them, and chocolate and eggs left for us! We would definitely recommend this property and host and would stay here again.”

“As always our stay was perfect. We use the Milford Motel on the River because its super convenient for us. Its close to our inlaws and close to town. When we had to cancel our last trip the Motel called me to make sure everything was okay, and that nothing major happened. ”
