“The weather was so bad, to the point I couldn't drive. I made last minute reservation for safety. I got a room with my dog. The Staff was friendly. I'm very appreciative Thank you. ”

“Breakfast area was way too small and obly had 3 slices of bacon and 2 scoops of eggs when we arruved for breakfast. The pool was nice.”

“The space is too small, the ironing board and the iron are old and broken, and the morning is monotonous.”

“It’s new and clean. Everyone is kind and nice. It’s close to the south gate of Shenandoah national park and the north gate of blue ridge road. ”

“The staff as extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel is in on a nice cute hill - secluded enough to not have any traffic noise from nearby, but close to restaurants (and a Starbucks) enough to be in walking distance. 10/10 recommend for anyone passing by. It's a straightforward 40m drive from Charlottesville as well, and way cheaper and nicer than the hotels you'd find in that city for this price range.”

“Very happy with our stay! Came with our 2 dogs and it’s in a very nice location away from any other buildings with a nice yard for us to take them out in. Room is very clean ,spacious and updated. We will definitely stay here again if we’re able to. ”

King bed was comfy. place a bit older. our bathroom shower was new but rest of bathroom could use upgrade. staff was super accommodating. was looking for drink mixers and the manager gave us two cans of ginger ale from their personal stuff. very nice of them.”

“This was THE best place I have ever stayed. I was traveling with my four kiddos and husband and there was plenty of space for us. The free snacks and ice cream made the stay for them memorable. The building itself had been beautifully restored and the space is huge. There is a great quiet and picturesque place to read and a beautiful old library with a gorgeous pool table for some fun. I can’t wait to go back! Beds were super comfortable and everything was spotless. I can’t recommend this place……

“Welcoming host in an interesting converted building. There’s not much in the immediate area we travelled out to Staunton to eat which was also a nice town.”
