“From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

“Like : Convenient Location adjacent to downtown Hastings. Lots of parking space. Spacious room and bathroom to fit a family's requirement. All furniture and fixtures are very clean. Unlike : My room number is 20, closest to the Omahu road, and the traffic noise badly disturbed my sleep. Strongly suggest to avoid this room.”

“Ett fantastiskt ställe. På parkeringen möts du av en av ägarens hundar som är överlycklig över att få träffa dig. Vägen dit är smal och backig men utsikten är fantastisk när du kommer fram. Rum med skjutdörr som du öppnar mot gräsmattan och bortom den ser du havet och soluppgången på morgonen. Acceptera erbjudandet om middag. Två anledningar. Dels riktigt riktigt god och dels vill du inte köra fram och tillbaka till något annat ställe i mörker. ”

“A fabulous child friendly place to stay. It's clean and has friendly staff who can answer any queries. My only suggestion is in reference to the showers. I found it really annoying having nowhere other than a couple of silly hooks to put ones clothes on in the shower ( If there were more hooks, they were so close together that your clothes fell off). As well as that there was nowhere to put my toilet bag other than on the floor which was often wet and/ or sandy. In the past there were slings……

The tent was large, clean, well appointed and very comfortable. My husband and I loved sitting on the veranda every morning enjoying our coffee while surrounded by the vineyard.”
