“This is a good hotel to stay at - location great, close to the waterfront and a supermarket plus restaurants and bars. Room was lovely, bed comfortable. Only pain was the lack of onsite parking - the offsite option was expensive and the street parking suggested had a two hour limit and wasn’t easy to find - if you didn’t have a car this place would be fantastic!”

“The hotel is located in the central of Wellington, Many attractive tourist spots are within walking distance. There are fast food shops and a large supermarket just directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The hotel room, especially the bathroom with Crabtree bath amenities, is spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel was built in 1928, it has been newly renovated with a signature scent. We have enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would highly recommend it. ”

“spent 6 night here - convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable bed. there was some mixed up at check-in but was fixed quickly. the only thing is the "fixed-rate" taxi advertised in the hotel information. the "fixed-rate" was supposed to be 30 NZD, but we were charged 54 in the end. We mentioned to the driver it should be a fixed rate, who insisted their company doesn't have a deal with the hotel and that we need to present a corporate card. our overall experience with this property is……
