“My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Mayfair twice during our trip to the South Island of New Zealand, once at the beginning and again at the end of our journey. This hotel is absolutely a gem! The property is new, which is always a plus, and the rooms are spacious and equipped with comfy beds and a kitchenette, making it perfect for both short and extended stays. “After a wonderful warm welcome and being presented with chocolate brownies we were then advised we had been upgraded to a suite. The room was very big and warm. Loved the bathroom especially. Had a lovely porch area. Was a shame we only had 1 night here. Enjoyed Sunday pork roast dinner at Quench and then breakfast next morning. Food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.”
