“Tony was a fantastic host; attentive, welcoming and informative. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm. Bed extremely comfortable, bathroom spacious with his and hers vanity to get ready. 5 min walk to the hot pools, restaurant and coffee shops. The grounds are well kept with a seating area overlooking the gold fish pond. My wife and I were looking for a short getaway and would highly recommend OakView Hanmer Springs. We will be back for sure!”

“This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a……

“Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. ”
