“This is a motel on the main drag of Custer. Easy walking to bars and many restaurants. It’s an older hotel and not much to look at on the outside. However the rooms are large and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds, nice towels, indoor pool and hot tub, coffee maker, nice size TV, in room are just some of the amenities. If you can get a good deal on it, it’s a great place. Took one star off as it’s a little pricey. Custer is a great base camp for the southern blackhills.”

“The building is from the 19th century so it has a charm to it. The floors are pretty good. The heater was able to make it comfortable as it was maybe 40F outside at night. Maybe it was colder. I really want to love this place as the location is great, the owners were very friendly and accommodating but keeping in mind the price in a perfect world the hallways wouldn't creep in so much noise from other guests. That's perhaps my only complaint. The doors being perhaps the thing I wish kept……

“Loved this cabin!! The kids wanted to stay another day but it was the end of our trip. Good location and close to stores and restaurants. Greeted by Stan soon after we got there to check on us. Equipped with the basics. We stayed at 4 different locations and this had the best beds ever! We hope to come back an again. Thank you!”
