“My significant other and I were in town for a friend of ours and it was a great stay. The rooms are stocked with Dove products as toiletries which I really enjoyed versus brands I had never heard of before. They also had the travel sizes along with full size bottles for their guests to use attached to the wall within the shower. I was pleased with this accommodation. We also had to add an extra night the night before and had no issues just doing it straight on our hotels.com app. Great customer……

“There were 8 of us in our group on a weekend motorcycle ride from Hartford SD. We started up to Fargo and then across into MN. Stopped in Hancock for supper at Buddies. Excellent supper and people!!! Had to wait out a storm so pulling into the VRBO and being able to park all 6 bikes into the garage was fantastic! Property was gorgeous and we will be planning another trip! The only complaint we had is that we were not staying longer than one night!! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!! ”

“Property was very cute and cozy but for people our age the loft was impossible to get up to. Cabin was very clean and well supplied. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Cowdry cabin and Hut worked perfectly for two couples getting away.The cabin to water proximity is perfect and flat.Plenty of and varied outdoor chairs to choose from and the lake is the show. Morning dancing dragonflies, loons and ducks, and spectacular sunsets.Cabin is charming and comfortable, plenty of space to spread out to read and relax or get together for meals and cards.I recommend to others looking for an Alexandria lake front stay. “This place has literally everything you need. The guest house accommodated our large family comfortably and had all the cooking needs you could possibly think of. There were plenty of towels, beds, showers, pillows, extra blankets… you name it. Mary was a generous host, and her home felt like we were visiting family. Would consider staying again ”
