“The views from the cabin were amazing. Sitting on the deck eating meals and watching the river and quietness is a plus. Soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking is very relaxing. The cabin had what we needed for our trip. The only downside was the amount of caterpillars that got in and how loud the portable air conditioning was. Nothing that would make me not come back though. It does have a lower water pressure so if you are someone that needs a high pressure shower this is not for……

“We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property.”

“This place was such a surprise, a darling cabin in the woods with spectacular views. Every detail was considered and the amenities had such a thoughtful purpose everywhere you looked. And the hotub was amazing!!! The hwy and railroad is very close but you do not hear it at all on the river side or even inside the house. Also seeing the trains was fun! Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. ”

Meghan is a very kind and responsive host, you will love your stay. Located right at the head of the twin falls trail it feels super remote and deep in the woods but you’re just minutes from great restaurants and shops. I will definitely be back. ”

“We had a relaxing weekend away at the cabin. The inside was beautifully appointed and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. We spent the evening in the hot tub, listening to the waterfall and soaking in the beauty of the surrounding trees. Being close to Seattle, it was easy to get to but felt like we were far away.
