“The Amsterdam Hotel was an extremely cost-effective option in Stamford, where the average hotel rates have skyrocketed. That said, set your expectations accordingly. This is a dated hotel with old furnishings and no frills (although the included continental breakfast was a nice extra). However, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and it's within walking or short drive distance from whatever you want to do in Stamford. I felt like I got my money's worth.”

“Check in was great, he was very attentive and kind. Checkout was a little weird. Asked for late checkout and was told it was okay but then suddenly I was being yelled at to get out. Room being called etc. Told I only had 5 minutes so I said ok will leave now. Then she started shouting at my Mom who has a heart condition and I was like OK I already told her. It made an already stressful situation worse.”

“It's the second floor of a spacious home in the charming old village of Mamaroneck. Harbor Island Park is a 20 minute walk away, and dozens of restaurants and charming shops line the avenue on the walk back. The train station into Manhattan is just a ten minute walk. It was perfect for my needs - and spacious enough to accommodate four or more.”

“This is actually the second time we stayed here. Both times we stayed for a long weekend. We stayed here for a weekend. We are a couple with three school aged children and we were quite comfortable. The space was clean, modern, and in a great location. The building has great amenities, a game room, a gym, and work spaces on site. It was a perfect weekend getaway.”

“Great stay. The apartment, adjacent to Iona University, is located around the back of the principal home atop a five step stoop facing a grassy lawn with a garden and sitting area. Parking is off street. The unit is very clean as it was recently renovated. The bedroom is quite spacious easily accommodating the queen size bed. The sitting room is furnished with a modular couch/lounge which expands into a second sleeping option. Both rooms have modern smart TVs. The bathroom, while small, is well……
