“The property is really conveniently located right in the heart of Kailua. Restaurants, shops, bars, grocery stores, whatever it is you need, it's right there. “The house was absolutely amazing. All ten of us had plenty of space. The view was stunning. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. It turns out we much preferred it’s true location up the hill away from the bustle of town. It was so beautiful. I am glad it was not a short walk to Taco Bell as stated in the listing.”

“I had such a lovely time staying at this property.The place looked exactly like the photos, thoughtfully arranged. All the listed amenities were exactly as described - made my stay so much convenient. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and well-maintained. “Great spot, super comfortable and yes, it does have mini split AC units in the living room and the bedroom, which were very appreciated in the August heat. (Recent addition, photos haven't been updated yet.) It was so nice to have soft coolers and a beach wagon available. If you're searching for the beach chairs, they are in a locker in the trash chute area by the elevator on the 3rd floor -- door isn't locked, just pull (why didn't I think of that, haha).”

“Wonderful stay! The location is a short walk to many restaurants and shops. We loved spending time on the lanai, watching surfers in the morning and sunsets in the evening. We did experience an issue with the air conditioner, but the owners were responsive and made sure the issue was addressed as soon as possible. ”

“Location is amazing—the Kona Ali’i is one of the highest viewpoints in Kona. Easy check in and instructions on how to use the key. No AC was a little rough since it was more humid than usual during our stay, but the unit has two very nice standing fans if needed. Some blackout blinds would be nice for the bedroom window, as the light from the walkway is very bright. Overall, we are very active when visiting the area so those things don’t keep us from sleep. There is a Murphy bed in the living……

“This was a great play to stay for a family of 6. The place had a good amount of utensils, soap, pots and pans, and beach and snorkel equipment. Something to note is that there was a steamer not an iron and only four beach chairs, but in terms of the beach chairs we made it work. Very clean and the host was always quick to respond. This place is walking distance to the shops as well. Great location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!”
