“This hotel was clean and comfortable, but the front desk was not manned several times when we needed help. We arrived about 11:30pm to an unlocked front door and unmanned front desk. After about 5 minutes or so, I called their phone number. An agent came out of an office just 15 down the hall from the lobby and checked us in. I had to notify kitchen help once to refill a coffee dispenser and another time to put cups out. The did have bacon every day that we were day, much better than other……

“We used this hotel for an overnight because it is close to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. NO BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED. However, there are lots of amenities near by. “A very nice, quiet motel in Hart Michigan. Call on your way in to receive your door key code. There is no need to visit the front desk. Nice, well kept interior furnishings and bedding. Outdoor seating, picnic table a lovely quiet fire pit with all the free wood you need for a restful evening. Stop at Hansens grocery on the road in from Hart for the best deli meats and beer and wine in Michigan. Highly recommend motel”

“The middle of the Montague Trail is only a mile or 2 away, we were able to find it and explore. Also the Genevieve Casey Nature Sanctuary is close and offers great hiking with a variety forest types and long difficult trails! This is our 2nd stay at the property and everything was great as it was before. The fall colors were out and it's a beautiful area to take them in.”
