“The Leonard is situated in downtown Muskegon and is within a block or two of both the Muskegon Museum of Art (an excellent art museum) and the Muskegon Convention Center and social district. This is a great place to stay and the accommodations, which have a techno-industrial vibe, are new and spacious. Just terrific!”

“The property itself is very cute and clean. Decorated very sweet and comfortable. This is Muskegon but this particular area felt safe. Mostly one family homes in a neighborhood setting with several shops and businesses across from the water. I imagine during the summer months, it’s a very active area. The only con is parking is on the street, out of view of the house I rented. This IS Muskegon, so I was a little concerned. But I didn’t have any issues. Communication with the property manager……

Only caveat is that I would have preferred to receive the access information sooner than an hour before check-in (so I didn't keep needing to check my phone), and I would have preferred to receive the check-out instructions at the same time...I left for breakfast early on my day of departure and then needed to go back to the unit to take care of some minor check-out items as I didn't get the instructions until a couple of hours before check-out. “The location was amazing and the price was good. The property seemed a bit neglected, kind of overrun with weeds, Stairway down to door not the safest, no real patio furniture to sit outside. The view was amazing and it was minutes to lake Michigan. The Size was decent however our biggest complaint was not having control over the temperature, thermostat. We had to text anytime we wanted the temp turned up or down. Especially annoying because the blower was right on top of the shower head and……
