“Nice place for an overnight stay ”

“We came for July 4th. First visit to Jefferson’s activities for the holiday. We loved the small town festivities and the fireworks were amazing!! Was happy to snag a last minute room. Parked our car and walked easily everywhere we wanted to go downtown. We loved the Steamboat Inn. Beautiful! Wonderful hosts. Our room was wonderful. So charming and very clean. Great breakfast. Would highly recommend, and we’ve already booked another stay here for Christmas! ”

“The front desk is pretty good and friendly! She spend a lot of time to let us know the history of the city and recommended which food is good or not. It is safe to walk around in the night. There is no people around the hotel and pretty close to the gas station, only spend 4 mins if you drive. ”

“Very nice home. Very quiet neighborhood. Great location on the lake. Roads going in are not very good. We had to wipe down the refrigerator handle and shelves.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Whiskey Barrel. The view was beautiful! The house was well stocked with all our needs. We loved the game room with foos ball, enjoyed playing corn hole and the kayaking was enjoyed by all. The dock over the water was perfect! ”

“The house is very spacious and very well equipped, more so than most places we have stayed. We enjoyed the decor and would like to have known more about Dr. Woods and family (original owners). We would have liked to have a TV somewhere in the house and the blinds in the corner bedroom need repair or replacement. I would also suggest a little work in the back as there are uneven surfaces and we are four senior citizens. All in all , it is a very nice property with great pricing!”

“All around great stay. House comes with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and the location is perfect. Boat ramp and dock was a major plus. Ramp was well maintained and easy to put the boat in. ”
