Unfortunately the Irving lights from behind were shining in through the bathroom window at night and then the sun in the morning. Great friendly staff, Amanda checked us in. “The Evergreen is an exceptional property that is still being renovated but is open for business with limited interruption. We were very pleased to see that the restaurant in the hotel is award winning but missed the opportunity to actually taste the food since they were closed while we were there. Augusta is a hard surface city with many renovations taking place. What I mean by hard surface is that many of the building are made of granite. “Very nicely decor. Feels like home. Greatest welcome from Mark and Margo.just love our room, the grounds, the oceanview, our bed is like a pile of clouds. Shower is super.
