“Went to Starve Rock for weekend, stayed in Peru. 10 mins away. The hotel was in a nice spot close to stores, shopping and resturants. The staff was awesome! They had a cooler of water in lobby that was the BEST i ever had. Free breakfast that was filling from 6am-9am. Easy in and out. Shower had great pressureand pillows were soft..”

“This is a great affordable find in North Ottawa! Near enough for hiking and strolling and enjoying town. Safe and clean and friendly!! Pool…Hot tub… hot breakfast….beds were very comfy and towels and shower was outfitted with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a lotion! They are dog friendly too!”

“There was an unpleasant odor in the lobby and no air conditioning in the hallway, but the AC in my room worked well. The desk clerk was business-like--don't expect to receive a warm welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge but the microwave didn't work. Security at the first-floor window consisted of a couple pieces of wood jammed into the track. There's a McDonalds just across the highway that opens at 5 am, which was convenient for getting a……
