“This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. If you want a clean, safe, convenient hotel, go here. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, but dated. They service the room every day! And restock your coffee! “We had such a wonderful long weekend staying at this historic cottage tucked up in the trees. We loved the deck, dock (with umbrellas!), and beach area, and our dog loved swimming and exploring. Access to the state park is great. The house stayed cool, the bed is comfortable, and the location is perfect. We will be back ”
