“Elin and Marcus were incredible hosts. Their home is a true gem that will transport you in time. The attention to detail is incredible. “The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

Besides being in a beautiful location there were many activies available to do such as winery tours, paddle biarding, spa etc. If there were any questions or needs we simply sent a text and within a couple minutes we received an answer. “This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. “Everything was just so beautiful, from the gardens, the art in the home and the layout of the home! Our host, Rose, was so serene and kind. She gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, she was wonderful! Our breakfasts were delicious, locally sourced, hearty and decadent.
