“I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years (starting back in the 1990s), including before it became a Red Roof Inn (it used to be a "mom and pop" called the Herkimer Motel). It has always been well maintained, and its an affordable place to stay in the area, I use it as a jumping off point to go to Glimmerglass Opera and Cooperstown. “We stayed at this Hampton Inn because it was close to the Nexus Center Ice Rink. Our room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast was good, with multiple choices. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I must say upon arrival a wonderful lady at the desk named Shaniqua was very pleasant and helpful I had a long travel and I wasn’t expecting such a vibrant personality it was really nice to have that experience. The room was perfect very clean and comfortable everything was in top condition even my freezer to keep my frosty from Wendy’s frozen which saved me for that late night sweet treat 😉 not to mention the free breakfast and coffee which also helped save me a couple bucks btw the coffee was……

“We picked it because close to Empire State Trail as we go from Buffalo to Albany and that they allow us to bring bikes into our rooms. Breakfast good, staff friendly ”
