“Everything was very clean & nice. Breakfast was awesome! Wine & cheese every afternoon & cookies every night are nice extra touches. Pool area was clean & provided Pool towels a big plus. Room service great. The only thing we were disappointed in was the beach access. It was a rather steep hill down to beach. We were told it changes due to high tides and wind etc. which no one can control. We had a great trip and would love to stay there again.”

“I loved the fact my dog was welcome here. Easy access to the beach. Glad I upgraded to a beach access room. However. Not sure I got an Expedia deal on this. Also. The clerk named Jim wanted cash for the upgrade. I didn’t have it. Yet when I asked at check out for change for. 50. He said he did not have it. Disappointed. This was for my tip to cleaning lady. “This is the second time we have stayed here. It's an older resort, but the units are modernized, clean and maintained. The bed was comfy. We had brand new sofas in the living room. Live how beautiful the beach is in North Carolina. ”

“Nice quaint and quiet place waterfront. Excellent service at the continental breakfast. Didn’t have any interaction with desk staff and the desk is open very limited hours - but that didn’t affect our stay. Perfect place in Manteo”

“The property was Immaculate and well worthwhile. Tara was very friendly and more accommodating than any hotel I have stayed at in years. The only thing I saw that was a little off was the access to the shower controls - could not get the water running without getting the cold water a bit. ”
