“This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊”

“This home is a rustic, but comfortable place, perfect for a secluded and quiet get-away, with board games and walks. The home is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is newly renovated, the listing accurately describes the home and area. We went for a beautiful walk at Lake Tabeaud, a half hour away, and there were groceries conveniently located within a mile. “There were drunk loud people in the room right under us. They kept us awake, we asked them nicely to be quiet. But it didn't change, so I called down to the front desk. She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. “This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street.
