“Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere every time I visit Rest. The wine hour and breakfast are great. We always eat at Taste which is excellent. The immediate area is historic and closed down. It’s a great place to stay after a day of wine tasting and exploring the historical towns nearby. ”
“My husband and I try to come up to Sutter Creek three or four times a year and we will always check Hotel Sutter for a room before looking anywhere else. We love the old building, the friendly staff, the restaurant and the bar. Strolling the main street and visiting all the local shops.”
“There were drunk loud people in the room right under us. They kept us awake, we asked them nicely to be quiet. But it didn't change, so I called down to the front desk. She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation.
It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. Having said all that, I would……
