“There were drunk loud people in the room right under us. They kept us awake, we asked them nicely to be quiet. But it didn't change, so I called down to the front desk. She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. “What a neat little gem just steps away from downtown Placerville and still surrounded by nature! We even saw a whole deer family on the front lawn. Historic charm meets all the amenities you can ask for. We were in the Inverness room with our two pups and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was super attentive and responsive. The only thing people have to be aware of is that the bed is super soft. If you like that, this is the room for you, if not, you may want to try one of the other……
