“It was wonderful. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The motel is right off the highway but by itself which was not a problem. Quiet in terms of no guest noise or rowdiness. The highway made noise but that is expected. I slept very well - didn’t disturb me. Seems newly renovated. Short drive to the town restaurants, etc. and only 5 minutes to where I was working. Extremely nice man at the front desk. Seems family run and they take pride in their motel. I will stay again. :)”

“We stopped here after vacation in the OBX. It was a perfect way to avoid the post vacation blues. We were able to sit out around a campfire and just chill. It was very comfortable and I felt right at home. I felt well rest after a good nights sleep in luxury bedding. It's a great location and very easy to travel from I-64 to US-522, I-66 to I-81.”

“Our family of four really enjoyed being able to see horses, dogs and kittens (all safely enclosed in their own spaces) while staying at this well appointed property - they even provided a few snacks for our arrival! Travelers should note there are not a lot of food or grocery shopping options nearby (15-20 minutes) so some planning ahead is recommended. ”

“We had a wonderful time at this cabin! From before check-in to check-out, Carrie was extremely responsive and flexible. The cabin itself was tastefully decorated and had amazing views. We had 6 in our group (four adults and two teenagers); we were all very comfortable and had all we needed for our two-night stay. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area. ”

“Fun and historic B&B with very lovely owner/hosts. Pam and William are a delight and the home is comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast served daily with coffee and tea all day. Great places to curl up with a book or, enjoy the outdoor seating. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, If you're interested, William will be happy to show you around and share some history of the house. Great visit! ”
