“I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. We stayed for a night to catch an early kayak tour out of Seward and it was a good deal. Most other……

“I had an absolutely wonderful stay here and the employees were some of the most welcoming and friendly people I have ever met! The room was nice and clean with a beautiful view. The saloon downstairs had some great food and was a great time meeting some local residents. I cannot emphasize how great Sara, Denise, and Bae were. They went above and beyond to help me when I ran into some issues at the end of my trip. They were so great, that by the end of my first night there, I extended my stay……

Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush.
