The neighborhood is nice as well. this is a perfect weekend getaway. The trip is easy coming from Charlotte. If you're not into watersports there is still plenty to do nearby from hiking at Morrow Mountain to exploring Uwharrie National Forest to the Indian Mounds in Mount Giliead. “We had an amazing time here! We came into town to watch our son play Lacrosse at Pfeiffer. The photos do not do it justice. The home is so pretty and comfortable. It is stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, and having a bonfire at night. The lake is so peaceful. Angela was so welcoming and responsive to anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here. We appreciate them sharing it with us. We definitely will be back! ”
