“The minute we arrived it was a pleasant experience. We were greeted by the valet Owen who promptly unloaded our car on a trolley and rolled it in for us to check in. Aurelia welcomed us at the desk and offered us champagne (very nice welcome after a long drive!). It was a quick and easy check-in and we were off to our room. “We were very surprised by the state of this hotel. We just needed a stopover to break up a long trip home and had very low expectations. This hotel is very well maintained and clean. Seems like someone has put a lot of money into this old place to make it pleasant, and it works!! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!”
