“We had a wonderful stay at this Alpena gem! The house was very clean and welcoming. The private beach was definitely private and relaxing. Very rocky beach, which was great for us as we love to rock hunt. We had a great time exploring the area! ”

One mattress was urine stained, cobwebs blocked one of the bathroom doors, and one of our party is convinced one of the mattresses showed evidence of bedbugs. Reached out to hotels.com regarding a refund for the two unused rooms and was told it would have to be through the property, was placed on hold while they called the property and was told they'd just spoken to them and the manager would……

“Booked the 'Little House' for a few days away with my two teenagers. Was a separate building, with king sized bed and pull out sofa, full kitchen and table to sit and eat, and bathtub with relaxing jets. Plenty of room for the three of us, would be great for a family if planning on staying for more than a night or two. Had a private beach entrance, with a fire pit available to the motel guests, that was at the end of the city public beach. Several other parks nearby, as well as playgrounds,……
