“We had a great stay at this cabin! It was very clean and the property was beautiful. Our family caught lots of fish and enjoyed the paddle boat, canoe and kayaks. We traveled into town and visited the Amish bakery which was absolutely delicious. Terry greeted us upon arrival and was very informative about the area and the cabin. It had all the basic necessities plus a little more. We are looking forward to visiting this place again.”

“From the moment we arrived, the cabin was welcoming - clean, organized, all the items we needed for cooking and serving, feel at home decor. A great set up outside, as well. The location is a nice short drive into Alpena and the surrounding area. A beautiful view across the lake, including a wonderful view of the sunrise. And nicely quiet. We highly recommend this rental. Great communication with the host (quick responses and wanted to make sure our stay went well). We will be talking about this……

“We had a wonderful week at Marina’s Lake Cabin! The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. It was a good home base for our treks to area hiking trails and lighthouses. We enjoyed the kayak, fire pit, and collecting rocks on beach. Thanks for sharing your home with us!”

“The lake house was exactly as pictured. We had plenty of space for our group of ten. The neighborhood is quiet. Our favorite thing about this property is the private lake access. The lake was just a few steps off the back deck. We enjoyed a day trip to Mackinac Island, which was less than an hour drive. We look forward to visiting the area again!”

“This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. You might want an extension cord if you like to use your electronics in bed. Cabin may fit 6 in a pinch using couch, but more comfortable for……

No one else around except for our hosts--our hosts gave us a nice warm greeting upon our arrival and their communication was awesome. The evenings were silent and best of all, no Wi-Fi!
