“My two friends and I stayed at Crystal Rapids Retreat to celebrate our “mid-life” milestone birthdays. We wanted to ditch the city to better connect with each other and nature, which we did ALL weekend. From watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck… to traversing the Muskegon River in our kayaks… to grilling out for dinner and laughing around the fire pit, there was no shortage of peace and enjoyment. “Terrific location for UTV riding! Relaxing family time cooking together and enjoying camp fires. Cabins were great with comfy furniture. We brought a few movies and board games for a rainy afternoon. We will definitely be back!”

“This place was so great. The past few years we have vacationed with family friends at a campground local to us. Our campground is closed this year for renovations, so we decided to go with vrbo. Our adult son has autism, so there were some specific things we were looking for, and this place was perfect for us! We appreciated having two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and the swing out back. “Wish the rooms had fans to move the air around. Only 1 window unit for the whole house was warm in the rooms at night. Other than that it was wonderful ”

“This was an amazing well stocked cottage that’s been completely renovated. Came with a fishing boat and a pedal boat. We were able to easily beach our jet skis on the lake and fish were always biting. Owners were there if we needed them and even offered us use of their kayaks and life jackets if we wanted. We had a fire every night and a sunrise every morning. Would definitely stay here again. Easy check in and easy check out.”

“We rented this house for out of town friends. I packed up "essentials" for their stay but was pleasantly surprised when these things (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags -- even coffee was provided). The house was clean and provided for an enjoyable stay.”

“We absolutely loved our time in the cabins on Chippewa lake! The cabins were very clean and cozy. They were stocked with all the amenities needed for our stay! The cabins are bigger than they look online! A steep walk to the lake but not a problem. The dock and water was perfect for kayaking and playing in the water. Everyone in our family loved the location. It is close to shopping for for anything needed. Also close to a very good restaurant call Roosters! It was a excellent choice for……
