Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!……

“The house was on a bluff on the lake. It was clean and comfortable. It was sufficiently stocked and the owner let us know what to bring before we got there. The fishing was tremendous from the provided paddle boat. We used Rebel Wee Craws in chartreuse and orange. We spent most of our time around the lily pad beds. There was a canoe, row boat, and kayaks, too. The neighbors were friendly and even though it was Labor Day weekend, it did not get rowdy. We saw bald eagles, swans, and black……

“Extremely lucky to be able to book this place as it is across the street from our place. This worked out perfectly for our daughter & son’s (not saying in law, because he is like a son to us) wedding reception at The Castle. The property was perfect for Friday night pizza party (Hixson’s pizza!) before the big event Saturday. The boys stayed here and LOVED IT! The cornhole game, firepit & hot tub were a hit! Thank you soooooo much for a great stay!”

“Cassandra’s home was magical! We came with many big and little kids, and everyone has something to do throughout our whole stay! The sand by the lake was perfect, there were plenty of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and life jackets. We gathered wood for the fire pit, and the setting was just perfect for us. It’s away from all the busyness of the city, it’s so peaceful, and we had the most wonderful time!”

“We love this property, enough to come back a second time. We will be planning another trip and want to stay here again. The house is cozy inside and out, we saw lots of birds and even deer while sitting outside. We also used the tubes and tubed from up stream to the house, lots of fun!! Can’t wait toco e back!!”

“This place was perfect for our family of 5. It was just my husband and I and our 3 kids ages 11, 10 and 4. We couldn’t have asked for more, there was swimming, fishing (paddle boat was great for that), and lots and lots of privacy! The host was also very great at responding to any questions we had. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and would 100% stay here again.”

“This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding.
