My wife and I had a great stay with no issues and the staff were perfect. “This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. ”

“Our stay was wonderful. The house was just as described and we were quite happy that coffee was provided since we were cycling and we didn't have any with us. Comfy beds and nice sitting area. The only "complaint" was no screens in the windows. It got quite hot and we couldn't adjust the temp, but also couldn't open windows because no screens. Otherwise, a perfect stay! ”

“So much to offer so much to explore and the town itself is extremely unique and close knit. All the people who worked at this resort were fantastic, wonderful, and kind-hearted.”

“The inn was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a sign for the inn at the road, but the building has no signage (not even on the door). We were not sure that we were at the correct place. Very close to the Potomac Eagle railroad.”
