“This was a perfect place for us to stay for 2 nights while the guys completed the GAP and C&O Towpath bike ride from Pittsburgh to DC. We enjoyed the country setting and the spacious deck and appreciated that we were still close to things we wanted to do in the Cumberland area. Beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean and as shown in the photos from the listing. We did not make much use of the kitchen facilities, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. “We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard”

“Mu wife and I (and dog) enjoyed an excellent weekend. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The property is very quiet and serene with beautiful views. Host added many extra treats and bottled water and was extremely easy to work with and always accessible. The back porch has gas fireplace where we spent majority of time just chilling and relaxing. Highly recommend!! ”

“Check in was a little confusing. We did not know if the owner would be present when we arrived. Once I arrived, some of the others were already there, and were checked in by the owner. The property was as described, very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and the surrounding area was very pleasant and well maintained. “My family and I had a great stay - A wonderful location and comfortable rooms. The hot tub is a nice touch in the back. I love being able to explore nature, far away from cell phone reception.It wasn't obvious how/where to use the kayaks, so we left them alone, but the water was moving too fast to use with children anyway. Also, I highly recommend carefully following directions with the toilet - The signs are very helpful! Septic systems are very sensitive.Overall, my family had a great time and……
