“This was my first time using VRBO myself and I was deeply impressed. This property is not only accurately reflected in its photos, it is even nicer in person. Little details... the scent of the unit, the sweet sound of rain drops on the roof, the ample firewood, and the detailed organization add so much charm to this property. “Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The community is unique in that it is gated, but 1200 acres. We only used the upstairs bedrooms, but the beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch!! The only addition that is needed is a fly swatter. Some very large, but slow moving flies appeared on our last night and we had to get creative with how we disposed of them. Very clean cabin! ”

“The cabin was everything I hoped it would be...and more. The kitchen was decked out with beautiful dishes, glassware and cookware. The linens and towels were luxurious. The mattress in the bedroom was quite comfortable and the sleep sofa mattress ... I could sleep on that every night. Very unexpected quality for a sleep sofa. The views were breathtaking. We were lucky to enjoy a rainstorm and got to listen to the rain on the tin roof. It was hard to leave. 5 stars.”

“Clean, well-appointed space. Check-in was easy as could be. When I needed to call the owner, I got an answer right away. Beautiful place and you can see so many stars. Definitely recommend! When we come back to ride the railroad with our kids, I think we'll be staying here again.”

“We had such a beautiful and peaceful getaway! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed, aside from bringing our own food. We thoroughly enjoyed the river access and use of the kayaks. Communication with the host was super easy and helpful. Overall, a serene and rejuvenating weekend. Thanks a ton!”
