“If you love nature this is the perfect place to be. There are many beaches and trails nearby. My husband and I saw animals during our stay that we don't typically see. Harbors seals, Humpback whale (that sadly was deceased) Turkey Vultures, Scrub jays, Red-shoulder hawk, Black-tailed jack rabbit, Douglas squirrel, Gray fox, Brown pelicans, Osprey, Sheep with even a time they were being hearded across a road into a field, and Black-tailed mule deer. “Great place for a short stay. We were attending a wedding at Dawn Ranch and it was only a 5 min walk. Host was really flexible with an early check in and he allowed us to leave the car in the driveway while we got breakfast. Very small space but practical and cozy!”

“This is a beautiful property in an amazing location. I can’t recommend it enough! The house itself is so unique and special, well-appointed, and comfortable. The deck is perfect for watching the river with your morning cup of coffee. My family had a great time with the kayaks and SUP board. The path to the water does require a strong, healthy adult to carry the kayaks. The river at the time we visited was very slow moving and safe for my teen and preteen. “This was our second time at the Cliff House and we had a wonderful time. We love this property because we can just unwind at the house or take multiple walks on the beach throughout the day. Our dogs love the property as well. The house has all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need for any cooking you want to do. We will definitely be back to the property. ”

The hot tub was gross when we arrived & they sent a team out quickly to drain, clean & refill it & it heated up quickly enough for us to go in that day! Access was easy with a lock box on the front door & my friend even charged his Tesla in the garage! It was a bit stuffy in the home, the air conditioning was needed and was not very effective & there was no breeze & no fans. I bet if I had asked for some fans they would have brought us some. ……
