“When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. “Absolutely beautiful home!! Loved the front room with the large front window and magnificent view of the lake. Our morning gathering spot in the house. Evenings spent either at the extra large dining room table or outside at the cozy fire pit. Large bathrooms were very clean and had all the necessities. The location of this house was perfect for us. Just a short walk to breakfast, convenience store and the kayaking rentals. Sunset kayak guided tour was amazing !! We totally recommend this home……

“We had a wonderful time staying at this place in Dewittville right on Chautauqua Lake! The property was well kept, clean and the backyard was right on the water front. The hosts put in a new dock which made viewing the sunrise or sunset outstanding. The enmities like the washer and dryer and the pool was a real plus and came in very handy. It felt like we were staying right at home. The hosts were excellent too, friendly and very prompt in returning communication. I would recommend staying here……
