“Not a luxury property but very comfortable and clean. Sometimes older properties have a lot of dirt build up but room was spotlessly clean. Furnishings are not fancy but everything goes well together and feels like a guest room rather than a hotel room. I like that owners are eco conscious. I would absolutely stay there again.”

“Property very cozy & north woodsy. Hard to find it since there was no sign in front. It was very hot in the room (winter) & it didn’t seem to make a difference by turning the HVAC system to off. Made it very difficult to sleep. Bird poop covered the mat & floor at the front entrance — very gross. ”

“We had a super relaxing time at Northwind Lodge. Our cabin was right on the water and very private. The allowed use of the pontoon and the kayaks/canoes was a nice touch. This is a very vintage and laid back experience which is exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again.”

“Cabin as shown in listing, not luxurious but comfortable and near beautiful creek and lake. We enjoyed a relaxing cruise on the new pontoon boat, canoeing and kayaking. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our visits, we’ll be back!”

“It was a girls weekend!! We had a great time despite the weather not being the best. We made the most of it. The cabin was clean and quaint, just enough room for us. There is very spotty wifi but we were not there to be on electronics. The Pontoon Boat was very nice and we enjoyed our time out on the small lake. The paintings on the walls and in the office are amazing. It would have been nice to have a fire pit at the cabin, however we did use the one on the beach.”
