“House was clean and well appointed but yard very small and right on road”

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as stated in the listing. It was perfectly located by Schroon Lake which was an advantage to us since we brought our boat and kayaks. The firepit was an added perk. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I accidently left my prescription glasses behind and she was kind enough to mail them to me. I would highly recommend this place and would rent it again in the future.”

“The house was great- it had everything we needed and fit our family of 5 well (2 kids had to share a bed because there are only 3 beds total but that wasn’t an issue for us). It was extremely peaceful. Note that it was a little treacherous with the snow; we definitely used 4-wheel drive on the last stretch to the house and in the unpaved driveway. Couldn’t find guidelines for checkout online or in any binder so I hope everything was ok. Again, overall we thought it was a wonderful stay and would……

““2025 family vacation”Thank you for letting us stay in your home with awesome views. The house was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location to Lake Placid and numerous hiking trails. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck enjoying the views and looking up at the stars. We drove to the top of Whiteface mountain, hiked numerous trails including Hurricane mountain which you can see from the house and climbed the tower. As you approach the house, you already feel special, which puts you in great mood and excitement of how you would spend your next days to come.
