“This was a lovely place to stay in the Adirondacks and was close to many trails. The place was clean and cozy, and although the bathrooms were shared with other guests, there were enough and it was never an issue. The owner and staff were also very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area and would recommend it!”

“My family of 5 stayed for a long weekend for baskeball. The rooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area and loved seeing all the animals around the water, we saw goose and deer. We enjoyed the privacy of the space and the closeness to main street. ”

“Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! ……

“Absolutely loved my time here. First off, it’s a college dorm room. It’s cheap, it’s clean and better than being out in woods. Bed is comfortable. There’s a fridge and microwave. There’s a complimentary breakfast which was better than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s four rooms to a suite so I guess there’s a chance others could be there but I had the place to myself for two nights. All staff members I interacted with were warm and friendly.
