“Good for the price”

“The gentleman at check in was so friendly and welcoming! The room was clean. The hotel itself seems it needs minor touchups to not make it look run down. The heating/cooling unit was making rattling noises when it wasn’t even on. Assuming it was from the wind outside. As for Hotels.com, I am unsure if we will book again. Seems it was a hassle at check in. They tried 3x to charge my card again for the entire cost. It flagged my card. ”

“The hotel itself was fairly clean. The heat didn't work all the time. Other than the check in didn't really see hotel staff until we checked out. The hotel was quiet. I did like that there was a refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator was iced over but it was still working. The microwave was not working properly we finally got it to work. “The hotel was spotless, my room was comfortable, the bed and were comfortable too. The staff couldn’t been more helpful, the food at Leisure’s Restaurant was excellent, both breakfast and dinner, bisque soup was out of this world and the service was fantastic! If you are in Lakeville, New York this is the place to stay at and dine at too!”

“We felt as if we were in Downton Abby. The guest rooms were ALL beautiful. The sitting room and library had nice cosy fire places with soft relaxing music in the background. Each breakfast in the lovely dinning area was a five star event starting with a fresh fruit cup along with delicious pastries and THEN the hot meal was not only artistically displayed but a gastronomical delight…ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Communication was fantastic with the host making sure our needs were met. This was a perfect place to unplug with friends for the night with board games galore and a quaint place to stay. There’s a small part of me that does not want to give this property a good review as once the word gets out this place will be booked nonstop and year-round. This property was by far the best we have ever stayed at. You have literally everything you need from the minute you walk in the door. Attention to detail is an understatement. “Three older adult sisters in our annual Sibs Game Weekend where we get together to play games from the moment we arrive to when we leave to go home. For that reason, the house being in a small town with few nearby restaurants or anything wasn’t a problem at all. We were cozy and comfortable, slept great, made our own meals in the pretty well-stocked kitchen, and played games. “Very cute park family friendly area. We really liked our cabin and took advantage of the fire pit that night. There were a few issues though. The front door was not sealed at the bottom so flies kept coming in being attracted to the light in our cabin. Also the dvd set up components were not compatible we brought a few dvds we were unable to watch. And apparently the WiFi did not work. We enjoyed the experience and location, the yogi the bear theme was cute. ”
