“Loved our downtown location. Coffee shop right next door with great rocking chairs out front and great potted plants. Comfy bed. Small, nicely appointed room and bathroom. Pretty much a home run unless you have fancier taste or expect more service. This place is remote check in and laissez faire customer service, though they were available and offered personal, professional service when I needed to call them. ”

“Our innkeeper Linda is simply wonderful. She is attentive and considerate, from ensuring that she includes plant based options as part of the delicious gourmet breakfasts she served to providing complimentary soft drinks (and wine) and snacks for her weary travelers who need to rest and rehydrate. The rooms and grounds of this 178 year old home are kept beautifully maintained and clean. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“New Bern has been one of my favorite places to visit and this charming apartment ranks as a top 10 experience. We celebrated our 26 Wedding Anniversary here. This was a quiet, charming and well decorated apartment with parking off the road. It’s host Danielle is very helpful and communication with her is quick and informative. All needs for our stay was meet and added extras such as snacks and coffee were very thoughtful. This charming well decorated quiet apartment is two thumbs up. ”
