“Beautiful old hotel in superb grounds. My 3rd visit. It’s dog friendly which is essential for me. Staff very friendly especially Angela who made such a fuss of our boy. Its excellent position means a great spot for beautiful dog walks, literally across the road. However I must comment on the room. It was absolutely boiling hot in there, totally unacceptable and uncomfortable, we were given a fan which helped a bit. One of the lights on the wall wasn’t working which made the room very dark. “Convenient, competitive and had all I needed. Staff were lovely and friendly. Would like water in vending machine (unless I missed a free option) and a pump in roof was going off every 30 seconds all the time, which was annoying but still slept well. ”

“The staff at the front desk is excellent. Very friendly during the check-in. She always smiles and tells me the location of the room. Feel happy to receive a Christmas card from the staff. The cups and the electric kettle are clean. I feel safe when using them. Wifi connection is good and stable. There are three electrical sockets in front of the desk. I can charge my phone and laptop at the same time. However, there is still room for improvement. The room is not clean. There was rubbish……
