“We loved this place. Although all cabins are on the road, we may have seen 5 cars a day drive by. The property is 3 miles up the mountain from the main drag in Cherokee. We felt secluded. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. We were surprised at the driving distance from the entrance to the house. It took about 20 minutes to drive 5 miles. But it was a beautiful scenic ride. “I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds.
