“Be prepared for no elevator and tipping a bellhop to carry your luggage up the stairs. No modern conveniences in the room and WiFi was spotty. NO TV. Two beds, a desk and two chairs. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Only six hangers in the closet. People over six feet will have to bend over to take a shower. Windows too high for a 5' 5" person to see out of. Public spaces classy but what you would expect for a 110 year old lodge. Two nice but expensive restaurants and the ambience was……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Under Canvas. The staff and service were exceptional. We loved our large tent with ensuite bathroom. Everything for our wood burning stove was all ready to go, and we were thankful because it was very chilly and damp outside. Inside we were very comfortable, and loved the ambience the small fire afforded. The breakfast items we ordered were all delicious. A special note of thanks to Marijke.
