“It was a nice place and staff was great. I recommend fixing the driveway. It's a bit rough right as you enter their parking area.”

“Jinetes de Osa is a nice place, run by nice folks. The rooms are spacious and clean. Ours had 4 beds. The room had bars of soap, but no shampoo, conditioner or other amenities. However the biggest miss was knowledge that there are 270 steps to climb to get to the room. The view was spectacular, The restaurant, a separate business, was very good. We booked a tour through the hotel and were very glad we did, we arrived at Corcovado earlier than everyone else and Rolando was the best guide. He was……

“This hotel was beautiful, the room was large with a lovely king size 4 poster bed. We had a great view of the sunset every night from our patio or from the spectacular infiniti pool. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night and the food was very good. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I wish we would have stayed longer! ”

“Tolle Unterkunft mit kleinen Holzhäusern. Balkon mit traumhafter Aussicht. Ausstattung eher einfach und funktional. Anfahrt mit dem Auto ist - wie der gesamte Weg nach Drake Bay - etwas schwierig. Sehr hilfreiches und nettes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück zu einem fairen Preis. Kurzer Weg zum Strand und zu den Ausflugsboten. Wir haben viele tolle Vögel direkt vom Balkon beobachten können.”

“Tangara Azul is a little gem, lovely accommodation with lots of living space and a kitchen, nice pool and grounds, easy 15 min drive to Uvita, much better value than staying there. Also has the citrus restaurant and a deli on site.”

“It’s funky but great to have both AC and a mosquito net. Basic washroom with a cold shower. Sometimes a bit noisy in the morning when all the atv’s and motorcycles start but that’s because the locals are up even earlier getting ready for the day’s tourist expeditions. Close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again”

“Insgesamt ein wirklich schönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Unser Zimmer hatte einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Ansonsten wirkte der Service eher unmotiviert. Obwohl es sehr ruhig im Hotel war, waren die Bedienung bei den Mahlzeiten manchmal längere Zeit nicht anwesend. Leider waren die Mahlzeiten eher unterdurchschnittlich. Das Abendessen war leider das schlechteste, das wir bisher in Costa Rica hatten. Fisch mit einen halbrohen Backkartoffel und drei……
