“My experience was slightly affected by the fact that I stayed in low season, and at a time when there was political instability along the border with DRC nearby. Hence I was the only guest for most of my time at the hotel which generated a slightly odd feeling. “The staff at this property were extremely nice and friendly. The journey from Kigali however was stressful. I recommend renting a jeep or a car with high tires as the roads leading to the accommodation are bad. ”

“The Faraja Hotel is a great place to stay! Although there was an issue upon check-in when they were unable to find my pre-paid reservation for 6 nights, once they located it, everything was fine. The staff is AMAZING! They went out of their way every moment of every day in order to ensure that my stay was the best that it could be. When I asked where the local supermarket was, one of the employees got in my car with me and took me there, and waited for me while I shopped. I was traveling alone,……

“The staff are wonderful, both kind and efficient. The reception were helpful and made one feel so welcome on arrival. Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place!
