“I went in expecting an average 3-star experience, but Carter Creek completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming — the staff were genuinely friendly, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Our room was spotless & spacious. We also enjoyed the restaurant; the food was far better than we expected with generous portions and great presentation. “If you're looking for a peaceful, rustic, and a good place to star gaze this is it for sure. Nice place for a weekend getaway/small wedding venue. Breakfast and dinner options on Fridays and Saturdays only but food was excellent when served. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms so not a problem if staying for more than a few days. Bar also open on the weekends only. It's a cat sanctuary (they have about 16 cats on the property, all outdoor cats) so if you're allergic to cats……

“My wife and I enjoyed this stay. The host was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. The property was located right off of the main strip in Fredericksburg which made it easy to walk to restaurants. The water pressure was fantastic, the beds were comfy, and the grounds were quiet. ”

“The place was amazing! Bed and pillows super comfy, spacious room! Only thing we noticed was dust on the outlets and ac vents, and a stray hair in the shower, but not enough to lose a star, just point out for future. Really enjoyed the community feel of the other units and met some new friends! Will definitely be coming back!”
